Yes, definitely! When it's dark, it feels like bedtime! When it stays light longer, I want to be outside playing after supper - I thrive in the sunshine. ( I do have a mild form of SAD so try to use a sunlamp on the days I can't be outside.)
YES,YES and YES again. I was raised in UK and we had so much light even in winter but we got dark after we were home from school. In Maine our days are dusk early and lights are on early.
I love sunny bright days till dusk and then I feel down and oppressive. I love to walk in the a.m. and when the snow is bright. We keep lights on till bed time and as soon as the morning light gets me up I am feeling it is a new day.
